True Stamp - Dare to be 3D

Want to learn how to make these projects? You can at True Stamp!

Calling all dedicated stampers! Whether you're a newer stamper looking to advance your skills, a more experienced paper crafter wanting an inspiration infusion, or a stamping dabbler looking to use your supplies in new ways, you need to hear about True Stamp!

My friend Lain Ehmann of True Scrap has pulled together six of the hottest stamping companies around to offer a full day of inspiration and fun... Including Raisin Boat. We're thrilled to be participating for the third year, and each time it's been more fun and inspiring than the last. True Stamp is a one-day, online, LIVE event on March 28. All six instructors will come to YOU via the magic of the Internet in a state-of-the-art web room. You'll watch class demonstrations, chat with instructors and other students, and have the time of your stampy life – all without leaving home (or
even changing out of your PJs!).  http://www.truestamp2015.com/raisinboat

You'll learn from experts such as Shari Carroll, Nichol Magouirk, and us – Kim and Bobbi! We'll be sharing cool 3D projects like the one shown above. If you're tired of just staring at your stamping supplies or creating the “same old” projects, then check out True Stamp 2015. Almost 500 people attended last year's event, and we expect this year to be even bigger and better. See you on March 28!

New Release - Camo Man stamp set

"Camo Man" is another new set in our series of hunter inspired sets this fall. The set includes silhouetted wild game animals, quick punch-out sentiments, and a set of organic shapes to create camouflage patterns.

Here's the set and its images:

I really had fun making the camouflage designs in these following cards. For the first one, I used our Boot Tracks embossing folder for the background, too.

I thought it would be fun to create these Ts using "Summer Lineup" stamp set. The wood background is from "Handy Man" stamp set and the sign, "Welcome to the Cabin" is from the set with the same name.

I didn't want to forget about those female hunters either. "Camo Man" can be for a woman, too, despite its name. I do know a few woman that hunt with their husbands and significant others (not in this family, however)! To make this card, I got out my laundry sets - "Put it Delicately" and "His and Hers." I also used a new set called "Welcome the Cabin" and added the "Hunter since..." I'm going to add year number in there after I decide who is getting this card. It's a cute way to personalize it for the recipient. There's a phrase in the set, "Dressed to Kill" which is pretty clever to use with this the camo pattern.

The phrase in this set about "hunting down your present" is so cute to use with camo gift wrap. I made the gift and tucked it between some grassy and sticks from, "Sticks in Season" stamp set.

You can use this set without the camo pattern, too. The silhouetted animals are quick and easy to use and fit nicely inside the circular and square graphic sentiments, too.

I'm going to create a video to show how to get the best looks with the camo organic shapes. Stay tuned for that! Smiles, Bobbi
