Get wordy with Varsity Locker!

I love the graphical look of using large words on the front of a card with some unexpected element in or by the word. With our latest set - "Varsity Locker," I used the volleyball and soccer balls to make parts of the word. Take a look...

With the first card, I found it so easy to stamp the same word down the front because I can position easily with our clear, see-through stamps and acrylic blocks. The set, Alpha Bold was used for the letters. All of our cards use our BoatHouse(TM) Collection Cardstock, too.

Stamp the same word repeatedly down the front
of a card for a striking graphical look. It's easy
to position with our see-through stamps and blocks, too!

Do you have trouble getting your letters straight?! Raisin Boat offers acrylic blocks with grid lines. These blocks are essential when positioning a long row of letters for a card or scrapbook page. Once they are straight on your block, you will have perfect results every time. I used our 2" X 7" block for this next card and it turned out nice and straight!

Use our stamp set, Alpha Bold and an acrylic block with
grid lines to stamp the words nice and straight!

Remember that the designs in the set can be used as backgrounds, too. In the next card, I stamped the volleyball repeatedly to make a fun background design.

Use the balls to make exciting backgrounds and then
use them in your words. They make great "Os" or exclamation points!

I also like to use just the balls as focal treatments, too. These are really simple cards to make and when you "pop" a ball up using our Sticky Thumb Dimensionals, you get a pretty cool card that didn't take long to make! (These are great for children's birthdays, etc.) The best part is that we've sized the balls to punch out neatly using standard sized punches such as the 5/8" and 3/4" circular punches.

The balls are sized to punch right out using a punch so there is
no hand-cutting involved in making the card.

Stamp a ball repeatedly across the front. Color and "pop" one up using
Sticky Thumb Dimensionals for added interest.
The Happy Birthday is from the set, too!

Have fun and enjoy our latest set, "Varsity Locker" Don't feel "locked" in to using just the locker. Get creative with your words, too! Smiles, Bobbi
