It's back to school...and back to our weekly set releases at Raisin Boat!

Introducing “Varsity Locker”, our newest set and a must-have for school-related scrapbook pages and cards! With its large locker image and plenty of add-ons to dress it up, you can wish your favorite student good luck on sporting events and tests, send a custom message with the wipe-off board, and much more! I have had so much fun with this set!

The locker can be stamped directly on colored cardstock for a quick, no-coloring approach, or on white cardstock to allow shading to your heart’s content with Copic markers. For this card, I stamped black on our Elephant Safari grey cardstock. It's simple and looks really cool. I also used the "caution" word to create tape to go around the locker. Kim and I added that word in the set just in case you know someone with a really messy locker!

Add "caution" tape for those messy lockers! Just stamp our word on
Sun Porch cardstock and you've got tape! The stars
are from another new set we will be releasing next week.

For my scrapbook page, I stamped the locker multiple times to create a row (school hallway) of lockers. This allows you to achieve the right scale for your page. It’s also easy to do because you can position your image nicely with our see-through stamps! Various elements from the set were used to personalize the lockers. I used the pennant to create the page title. Try adding the date to the wipe-off board for extra personalization!  To color in the lockers, I used W1, W3 and W5 Copic markers for a warmer metal look.

Don’t forget the many coordination opportunities with our Raisin Boat sets – it’s why we created even our lowest rental plan level to allow two sets at a time instead of just one. For example, Graffiti Gab is perfect for backgrounds and adding fun phrases to your lockers! The Brick large stamp is also a really nice background to use to represent the inside of a school.
Using "Graffiti Gab" stamp set and our "Brick" background, I added a fun background
to this locker that can be opened for a sentiment or journaling.
Inside, I filled the locker with lots of balls and a pennant.
I hand drew in a shelf and added some books.

Be creative! Personalize your lockers with "wallpaper" designs and add the items that your student is interested in. In the next sample, I created a "Be You" using the "U" to represent a University of you! I used pattern paper for the front and added a guitar and balls to show the interests of my niece.

Add items that interest your student. Be creative.
Use images from other sets that represent the person's passions and hobbies.
This card also features Graffiti Gab and a new set coming out next week! Stay tuned!

Stay tuned for another release next week! And yes, new Halloween and Christmas sets are just around the corner! Smiles, Bobbi
