It's a Boy!

It's been awhile since we've had a little baby boy in our family. All of our baby grand nieces are little girls. However, my oldest niece and her husband just had a baby boy. My friend also just had a baby boy. So, I went off to my studio to make some baby boy congratulatory cards today!

I had not used the baby stamp sets,  "Onesie" and "Onesie, Twosie" for awhile so it was fun to get them out to play!

I thinks it's fun to add stripes and different images to the front of the onesie and to the background papers in the set. You can personalize the onesie based on the interests of the parents, too. For example, if the Dad likes to fish, use the "small fry" image and phrase. There is something for the athlete, cowboy and more!

All four cards feature Boathouse Collection(TM) cardstock in the colors - Varsity Blue, Lemon Glaze, Mud Pie, Brighton Beach White, Red Delicious, and Coffee Bean. I also used gingham ribbon in light blue, white opaque pen and Sticky Dimensionals to complete these cards. All cards feature Memento inks and Copic markers - all available at  - Smiles, Bobbi

Use the long design image in the set to
 create a plaid background design.
Add polka dots or stripes to personalize the onesie.
Here I used the linear design from Onesie, Twosie
to create a horizontal design graphic.
Add stripes to the onesie for a playful pattern design on the onesie.

Use the puppy image or any of the other designs to create
patterned backgrounds. "Onesie, Twosie" includes this cute frame
to change it up!  Create an outer frame using the linear image.
