Fall Designs by our Crew Team

Everyone is thinking Autumn these days. This past week, our Crew Team Designers sent us some very pretty Fall projects that I just have to share with you. The warm earth tones and the rich textures make these cards so lovely.

Linda made the following card using our "Thankful" set. She hand cut a few leaves to add to the wreath for dimension. Linda loves our Natural Mix Raffia and chose to use it as a bow on this one.

Melissa designed the following card using the same set, "Thankful." She used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to add extra texture and stamped directly on it. I like the effect it gives the card. The focal point wreath is also used at right side background design. A simple bow in our BoatHouse Collection coordinating grosgrain ribbon (colors to match our 30+ colors of BoatHouse cardstock) completes the look.

Linda dyed one of our frayed flowers using Memento ink in Tangelo and Cantaloupe to make our next featured card. I love this look and can't wait to make more of these. While we offer the flowers in pink and white, don't let those colors stop you. You can essentially make these flowers into any color you like! "Arboretum Leaves" stamp set was used for the background. Natural Mix Raffia connects the flower to the card.

Melissa designed the following card using the same set, "Arboretum Leaves." She hand cut the leaves to make the left side border. Rhinestones in bronze finish the look.

Tara made the following card using Urban Blues and Ivory Coast cardstock. She used our Twill Tape in ivory to make the bow. Ink alters the color to match the card.

Melissa designed this trinket box that also features "Thankful." The box is made using BoatHouse Collection cardstock in Bear Cub and Black Granite frame the pattern background paper.

Enjoy our Autumn days. Before long we will be seeing the white stuff fall from the sky! Smiles, Bobbi

Challenge #5 Treats

It's time for another fun challenge here at the Raisin Boat Blog! This month, we want you to show us how you dress up a treat. It can be a box, tins, bottles, a candy wrapper -- or any other goody you come up with!

If you're looking for something to "dress up" with your stamps, Raisin Boat offers a great selection of fun alterable products. Check them out here! They make perfect goodies for Halloween and Christmas, which will be here before you know it!

Before we get to more detail on the "Treat" challenge, let's announce the winner of last month's challenge. It was lucky number #6 - Ema Martinez - with this wonderful card featuring our exclusive sets Do Not Enter, Dig Halloween, and Fright Night.

Ema, you will receive a free Raisin Boat stamp set of your choice!
Please email customerservice@raisinboat.com with your set name and mailing address.

This month... you can use any stamp set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps). That's right, use any stamp set you wish for this treat challenge, but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a stamp set of your choice!

Something NEW this month... To get three chances to win a free Raisin Boat stamp set, invite a friend to play along with our challenge. If you get a friend to enter the challenge and he or she mentions your name, you will get your name entered three times and triple your chance to win a free set!

So, in summary:

1. Your name is entered once for joining the challenge.
2. Your name is entered twice if you use Raisin Boat stamps. AND
3. Your name is entered three times if you do 1 and 2 and get a friend to join the challenge.

Need a little inspiration? The Raisin Boat Design Crew Team has these great ideas to share with you!

Now it's your turn! Create any treat project and link it below. Remember, you don't have to use Raisin Boat stamps, but if you do, you will get TWO chances to win... and if you invite a friend who participates, you get THREE chances to win a SET of your choice! Thanks for playing along with us!
