Challenge #8 It's All About Flowers

It's time for challenge #8 -- our second challenge for 2013! I don't know about where you are, but here in Wisconsin, it has been pretty gray and dreary. We are counting the days until the first flower blooms! That's why we thought a great theme for this month's challenge would be, "Flowers".

First, I want to announce the winner of challenge #7, and that was #7: Donna Polley, with this adorable card:

Donna used Raisin Boat stamp sets Playing Cupid and Wild About Ewe Honey.

Congratulations, Donna, you will receive a free Raisin Boat stamp set of your choice!
Please email customerservice@raisinboat.com with the name of your set selection and your mailing address.

For this month's challenge, you can use any stamp set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps). That's right, use any stamp set you wish for this challenge, but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a stamp set of your choice!

So break out those flower stamps and get started! If you are looking for some new flowers to add to your collection, or if you want to rent one, check out the wonderful collection Raisin Boat has in stock here.

We look forward to your "Flower" creations for this challenge! Here are a few ideas to get
 you started:

Kim made this card with Hydrangea Bouquet and added
white liquid applique for that fun, puffy flower effect.

You could give someone a bouquet of flowers, or just a hug, with this handy idea!
Bobbi used Urban Botanicals and No Loss for Words.

For this sunny birthday greeting featuring the poppy from Blissful Blossoms,
Bobbi went simple, but delightfully high in eye-pleasing contrast.

Linda used BloomTiki Hut card stock and Memento Ink for both cards.
All can be found in the Raisin Boat store at www.RaisinBoat.com.

  1. Jiminy cricket I missed this post and I recently made an awesome flower card to send to a friend! :( Hope I can find time to participate in this challenge! Spring break is around the corner so I hope I can manage to get a card in for this one. :)

  2. That would be awesome if you could participate, Ema - we always love seeing your wonderful creations! In Madison, we are REALLY hoping spring is indeed around the corner, as the forecaster just predicted 6-9 more inches of snow tomorrow night! Yuk! Have a great Sunday. - Smiles, Kim
