Congrats Graduate!

We asked our creative Crew Team Designers to create a graduate card using Raisin Boat stamp sets. Here's what they came up with...each one uniquely original and fun to share!

Linda took the challenge and ran with it (or should I say "drove" with it) using the car from "Off to Party." She added Pearl Pen in yellow to fill in the lights and back window. The license plate reads, "Go 4 It!" which is perfect for the graduate!

Other sets and products used include "Opportunity Knocks" and our fabulous BoatHouse Collection(TM) Cardstock and coordinating ribbon.

Katherine Schmitt used "Night Owl" and "Opportunity Knocks" for this next card. The rocket is dimensionalized using our Sticky Thumb Dimensional cushions. The set Opportunity Knocks includes a lot of great phrases and images for the graduate. It's a nice staple to have each year.

Kendra Sand went bold and very graphic using some die cuts and the set, "Talking In Circles." With a little ribbon and some Sticky Thumb Dimensionals, Kendra pulled off a big statement with this card!

Lastly, Allison McCutcheon inspired us with her idea of the grad cap and note inside. Allison is a preschool teacher and graduation is a big deal at her school! She likes to quote the Dr. Seuss book, "The Places You'll Go." for her graduate cards.

We used  Raisin Boat set, "High Five Grad" to make this card that could be given to any age graduate.

Lift the graduate cap, and here's what the graduate will find:

To make the graduate cap, cut a 2" inch square for the cap itself. The note that is adhered underneath is made from a 3" square. Simply fold the opposite corners together and then fold in half to make the fold lines. Attach to the back side of the grad hat. It's very easy and fun to share!

Now is the time to get your graduate cards made. The party invitations have already made it to our house! I need a few purple and black ones for our local high school colors. The great thing about stamping is that you can make any of these cards in any color combinations to fit the graduate.

Challenge 11 Father's Day

Sorry we're a little late with the challenge this month! Life does get in the way of fun sometimes. Wow, can you believe that May is almost over and it's time to start thinking about Father's Day? Well, we're here to help you get ready in time!

This month, our challenge is to make a Father's Day card. You have until the 12th of June to link your card below.

Before we get to the details, let's find out who won last month's challenge. The lucky winner was
Andrea B (#2) with this adorable card, which Andrea created using Raisin Boat stamp set Grandma's Kitchen:

Grandma's Kitchen

Congratulations, Andrea, you will receive a free Raisin Boat stamp set of your choice! Please email with the name of your set selection and your mailing address.

For this month's challenge, you can again use any stamp set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps). Use any stamp set you wish for this challenge, but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a stamp set of your choice!

Dad will love that you took the time to make a card just for him. Raisin Boat has many wonderful masculine sets, in themes including auto racing, fishing, hunting, bicycling and training for triathlons and marathons, lawn mowing, golfing, relaxing at the cabin or on the beach, enjoying a beer, and much more!

And remember, you can either buy OR rent Raisin Boat sets -- no guilt in using a set for just one project, such as this Father's Day card!

We look forward to your Father's Day cards for this challenge!

Now, some ideas for you...
Linda created this card with our Lawn King set --
perfect for all those dads who love their well-groomed yards!
If Dad enjoys auto racing, here's one for him! You can customize the side of the car with various logos also included in the set, which is called Race Fan.

Raisin Boat set, Time Flies, makes a relaxing card for Dad:

Time Flies coordinates nicely with our other fly-fishing set used below, Relax and Reel. We also offer an option for freshwater game fish with Get the Net, and a more whimsical approach with Go Fish.

New Release - "Hole In One" makes perfect cards for Father's Day!

Our latest release, "Hole In One" is the perfect set for those golf lovers in your life! I'm thinking there's probably a few Dads out there that love to golf. What is great about this set is that you can make quick and easy cards with great phrases. Many of the images including the golf ball can be punched out quickly with standard-sized circle punches. No fussy cutting needed!

Hole In One set by Raisin Boat

Kim spent a little time in her studio last week and made some really fun cards with this set. Take a look...

Our favorite Cloud Embossing Folder is a charming backdrop to our over-sized golf ball, heading towards the red tee. Kim sponged the backdrop to make the embossed clouds really "pop" off the page. She stamped the golf club design on Tiki Hut cardstock, punched it out and then added our String in Natural Burlap to add a natural and masculine feel to the card.

This next card really makes one smile. Smiley faces from "Peace and a Smile" makes this card a "lotta fun" to receive. :) Bright colors like our BoatHouse Collection(TM) cardstock in Summer Lime and Yellow Duckie add to the excitement.

Kim paired our latest set with, "Birthday Brewing" for the following card. With a hand-cut "red Solo" cup and our beer bottle from the brew set, this card offers a fun twist on the "golf cup." I know a few golfers that love the 19th hole!

Congrats 2013 Grad!

Crew Team Designer, Kendra Sand makes a bold statement with her graduation Congrats card, featuring, stamp set, "Talking in Circles." Kendra used BoatHouse Collection(TM) Navy Pier and Orange Zest cardstock by Raisin Boat to create a high contrast to the white 2013 numbers. She "popped" the "congrats" image for added interest. Love it! Smiles, Bobbi
