Challenge #21 "It's a Guy Thing"

Good masculine images for your papercrafting projects can be hard to find out there -- unless you look on! People often tell us how happy they are to see our wide selection of stamp sets for "the guys". No more floral cards for the men in your life! :-) Join us this month in kicking off our "It's a Guy Thing!" challenge (details below).

But first: We had very pretty and creative cards for Challenge 20. Thank you to everyone who joined the challenge, and we hope you'll join again this month. The winner of Challenge #20 was #2, Lorraine, a.k.a. "Coldwaters 2", with this wonderful card:

Congratulations, Lorraine, you will receive a free Raisin Boat stamp set of your choice! Please email with the name and item number of your set selection, as well as your mailing address. (To view your stamp set options, go to, click on the Products tab, and click on any category or the catalog link.)

Now for the Challenge: It's time to stock up on those cards for the men in your life. Raisin Boat has many wonderful sets to help you with this challenge -- even an entire "Masculine" category on our website. Create something "manly"! This could be a card, tag, invitation, scrapbook page, alterable, art journal page -- anything!

Use any set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps), but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a FREE stamp set of your choice! You can enter as often as you like.

Remember, you can either buy OR rent Raisin Boat sets -- no guilt in using a set for just one project, such as a challenge.  We look forward to seeing your "manly" creativity!

Upcoming challenges for 2014 to help you get the perfect sets in your rental Pick List.

March: It's a Guy Thing
April: Moms and Dads
May: Graduation
June: The USA
July: Summertime
August: Birthday
September: Halloween

Remember, challenges start on the 15th of each month and close on the 12th of the following month.

Here are some creations from the Idea Gallery to get you started:
Linda created this card using the perfect set for this challenge, It's a Guy Thing Again and background stamp Brick. The cardstock was Metallic Copper Falls, Black Granite Lite, and Ivory Coast.

In honor of the man who never asks for directions, we have this birthday card featuring our Navigator set! :-) See all supplies used here.

Think fast with this easy, yet bright, birthday wish! The gears in our Get in Gear set can be punched out with circle punches and raised up with a dimensional for extra "pop".

Customize your card to your wrapping paper for a coordinated theme, as we did here with this card featuring Born to Ride. Here's a close-up of the card itself, which also features edging created with our popular Splash set.

Dangle any greeting from our Relax and Reel fishing pole! The happy birthday image from Talking in Circles is perfect for this card. See all supplies used here.

Customize the side of your race car with other logos and images from Race Fan. See all supplies used for this card here.

Now it's time to race off to start your card for our "It's a Guy Thing!" challenge! On your marks, get set, GO -- and have fun!
