Challenge #24 USA/July 4th/Red, White and Blue

This month's challenge is to help you get ready for your 4th of July celebrations. You could make an invitation, card for the troops, table decoration, banner, art journal page or scrapbook page about a parade, picnic, etc., or anything else to mark the holiday. Use the colors red, white and blue -- or don't! You don't have to limit yourself to those colors, as long as you honor the 4th of July/patriotic/USA theme.

But first: The winner of Challenge # 23 is #3, Dianne Reid, with this clever Graduation card she made using Raisin Boat set, "Navigator". Very creative, Dianne! Love how anyone could adapt this card to their school colors:

Thank you to everyone who joined the challenge. We hope you will continue to share your wonderful creations with us!

Congratulations, Dianne, you you will receive a free Raisin Boat stamp set of your choice! Please email with the name and item number of your set selection, as well as your mailing address. (To view your stamp set options, go to, click on the Products tab, and click on any category or the catalog link.)

Now for the challenge: Create an invitation, card for the troops, table decoration, banner, art journal page or scrapbook page about a parade, picnic, etc., something in red/white/blue, or anything to honor the holiday in some way! Remember that it can be whatever you may need to help you celebrate! Just remember to do some stamping.

Use any set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps), but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a FREE stamp set of your choice! You can enter as often as you like.

Remember you can rent or buy sets from Raisin Boat. No guilt in using a set for just one project, such as a challenge. We look forward to seeing your creations!

Here are the upcoming challenges for 2014 to help you get the perfect sets into your rental Pick List:

June: The USA/ July 4th/Red, White and Blue
July: Summertime
August: Birthday
September: Halloween
October: Thankful
November: Christmas

This challenge will close on the 12th of July.

Here are some creations from the Idea Gallery to get you started:

Linda Lapotka used Red, White & Blue to create this fun July 4th card. You can find the directions for her card and a video telling all about it at her blog.

Create stars and stripes with the help of our Strokes of Pride set!

The customizable patterned plates/centers in our Fill With Cake set are perfect for those picnic celebrations!

What would the 4th be without some fireworks? You'll find them in our Red White and Blue set!

Remember... you don't absolutely have to use red, white and blue colors for this challenge if you don't want to! This card, featuring Strokes of Pride, still shows love for our country and our troops with non-traditional colors.
