Challenge #27 Halloween

This has to be one of our favorite times of year! The children are back in school, the temperatures are getting cooler, the trees are turning, and Halloween is just around the corner. That makes it the perfect time for a Halloween Challenge!

But first, let's congratulate the winner of last month's Birthday challenge -- #7, Laurie Pickerel, who made the adorable card below.  All of the Birthday challenge entries were so creative! You can check out each entry by clicking on each person's name. What a great way to get inspired!

Laurie used Raisin Boat set Fore the Golfer to create this clever birthday card for a gal golfer.

Congratulations, Laurie, you you will receive a free Raisin Boat stamp set of your choice! Please email with the name and item number of your set selection, as well as your mailing address. (To view your stamp set options, go to, click on the Products tab, and click on any category or the catalog link.)

Now on to Challenge #27... It's that time of year to get your spooky on! Raisin Boat has 19 wonderful Halloween sets to help you out. You can create a decoration, a scrapbook page of your little goblins, a card or whatever you would like with a Halloween theme.

You may just win a FREE stamp set of your choice! You can enter as often as you like. Use any set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps), but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a FREE stamp set of your choice!

Remember you can rent or buy sets from Raisin Boat. No guilt in using a set for just one project, such as a challenge. We look forward to seeing your creations!

Thank you to everyone who joined the challenge. We hope you will continue to share your wonderful creations with us!

Here are the upcoming challenges for 2014 to help you get the perfect sets into your rental Pick List:

This current Halloween challenge will close on the 12th of October.

Here are some creations from the Idea Gallery to get you started:

Linda created this fun 3X3 one-drawer Easel Tag Card using Halloween All Around and Haunting Potions.

Using Handy Candy, you can put an image of a treat or an eyeball in the fingertips -- or an actual candy! It's fun to color the candies in all different wrapper patterns.

Did someone say "treats"? Our furry friends would love to celebrate Halloween with you -- check out our humorous Howl-ween HoundsDig Halloween, and Canines in Costume, plus our great accent set, Fright Night.

This guy from Wrap Party is taking a shortcut to the Halloween bash through the cemetery (gravestones were made with the top of the coffin image in the set -- customize their epitaphs with your creativity!).

Don't forget we offer all kinds of treat bags, bottles, and tins for your Halloween goodies -- check them all out hereScary Voices is a perfect word set to add that spooky touch to your treats.
