Challenge #29 Christmas and Holiday

Thank you to everyone who joined the October challenge. We are always so impressed by your creativity! The winner of the Thankful challenge goes to number #1, snazzyjj, who is June Swart. June used a Raisin Boat sentiment and made it her own for this adorable card:

Congratulations, June, you you will receive a free Raisin Boat stamp set of your choice! Please email customerservice@raisinboat.com with the name and item number of your set selection, as well as your mailing address. (To view your stamp set options, go to www.RaisinBoat.com, click on the Products tab, and click on any category or the catalog link.)

Well, Christmas will be here before you know it, so our challenge to you this month is to create something with a Christmas/holiday theme. This could be a card, tag, invitation, scrapbook page, or an art journal page -- anything! Use any set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps), but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a FREE stamp set of your choice! You can enter as often as you like.

Remember, you can either buy OR rent Raisin Boat sets -- no guilt in using a set for just one project, such as your Christmas cards. We have an amazing collection of Christmas theme stamps and four new sets.

Here are some creations to get you started, but check out our Idea Gallery for hundreds of holiday ideas -- plus over 1,000 other samples that you can search by Raisin Boat stamp set title!

Linda created this funky tree using Going in Circles. She also used Corrugated Box on Red Delicious cardstock for the layer under the tree. The tree was heat embossed on Brighton Beach White and colored with 3D Stamp Paint, and the dots are Glitter Liner. Linda has a process video on her blog.

If you haven't already seen our new angel sets, you don't want to miss them! This card features the sweet angel in Heavenly Holidays. See all supplies here.

Our elf sets are always popular for holiday projects. This elf from Elves Are Watching is holding a sign featuring a phrase from our new Festive Phrases set, but you can have him say anything! See all supplies here.

These tags are quick and easy with our new Holiday Wishes set. Have fun making them together with a child, friend or other loved one! See supplies here.

Our Let It Snow set goes perfectly with the words from Holiday Wishes and Festive Phrases. Our new snowman brads add a friendly face! :-) See supplies here.

Just an embossing folder and a phrase can be enough for a beautiful card!
